Sigur Rós Celebrates 20th Anniversary of Takk with New Editions and Concerts

Sigur Rós celebrates the 20th anniversary of the cult album Takk with a massive event: the band will release several new versions of this masterpiece. On Friday, the official Bandcamp channel will feature a box set with five 10-inch records and a stricter edition on three vinyl records, including five bonus tracks – the B-sides of the single “Sæglópur” and two previously unreleased tracks: “Melrakki” and “Elfur”. In addition to vinyl, fans will be able to purchase merch - T-shirts, hoodies, touts and a mug. At the same time, the band resumed their famous orchestral tour, beginning with two concerts in Prague. The following months will see performances in Tallinn (tickets sold out), Paris and London, as well as an extensive North American-announced program including performances in the US, Canada and Mexico.
