Gorillaz completes their unique London tour with special guests

Gorillaz have completed their massive London residence with three nights of performances of their albums Gorillaz, Demon Days and Plastic Beach. The last show, in which the band played all three albums from start to finish, with B-sides, video sequence and special guests, was a real event.

The first concert dedicated to the debut album was recorded and is now available on YouTube. The fourth night, dubbed the "mysterious show," met the expectations of those who were able to get a ticket. Audiences were asked to temporarily put their phones away, and the band Gorillaz took to the Copper Box Arena stage to play a new album.

According to reviews, the music had noticeable Eastern motifs, which corresponds to Damon Albarn’s words about the multilingualism of the new album. The show was attended by famous musicians including Johnny Marr, Paul Simonon, Black Thought, Yasmin Bey, Joe Talbot (IDLES), Griff Rees, Anushka Shankar, Sparks and many others. The Sparks performed the song "The Happy Dictator". A new Gorillaz album is expected to be released soon.
