Kendrick Lamar: Not an Oscar, but an Emmy and a big fish

Kendrick Lamar, despite only getting one of ten possible VMAs, was successful at the Emmys. During the break of the Super Bowl, he caught not only the Emmys, but also, by all accounts, the biggest fish in the ocean of show business. Winner of a Pulitzer and twenty-two Grammys, Lamar won a second Emmy as music director of The Apple Music Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show Starring Kendrick Lamar. He competed with the Oscars, two Saturday Night Live 50th Anniversary shows (one of which featured the Oscar-winning Cuestlav) and, most interestingly, Beyoncé Bowl. He won his first Emmy three years ago when he was on a Super Bowl halftime show with Jay-Z, Dr. Dre and Eminem. This time, the awards will be held on September 14, and Lamar will compete for the victory with Beyoncé and her Beyoncé Bowl, as well as the Oscars and two shows in honor of the 50th anniversary of Saturday Night Live. In addition to him, the winners of Creative Emmys were Theodore Shapiro and Cristobal Tapia de Veer (music for "Separation" and "White Lotus") and Giles Martin (sound mix of rock dock "Beatles '64"). Beyoncé also won her first Emmy in August while working on costumes for the Beyoncé Bowl.
