Search a recognisable part of the name
A short distinctive phrase often works better than an uncertain full name. Similar names may refer to different streams or editions, so compare the page description, country and source before choosing.
Use filters in stages
Genre describes music; country and language describe different aspects of a station. The source filter distinguishes catalogue origins, while the station type distinguishes external streams from stations created on the service. Radio Browser is a source, not a third station type.
When no results appear
Clear country, language and type while keeping the name, or start again with one genre. A narrow combination can exclude stations with incomplete metadata. Absence from one filtered result does not prove a musical direction is missing entirely.
Compare and save
Read descriptions and listen to several passages. Save a few stations with different moods rather than restarting at the first catalogue page each time. Favourites are stored in this browser; cross-device account synchronisation is not connected.
Is the country also the language of every song?
No. A station can play recordings in several languages. Check the language field and its description.
Why do I see similar station names?
A brand can have multiple editions or streams. Compare the details; matching names alone do not establish that two entries are identical.
