Place the player where it supports the page rather than covering navigation or reading. A compact player suits a narrow column; chat needs enough room to read messages and use its input on a phone.
Review the appearance
Compare available appearance options and preview the result at the intended width. Check contrast, readable text and recognisable playback controls. A preview is useful for layout but cannot establish whether the real audio source works.
Test the actual integration
After working embed code and a source are connected, check the host page on desktop and mobile. Test playback after an explicit click, volume, resizing and the coexistence of other page controls. A secure site may reject an insecure audio source.
Know the present limits
Widget settings and previews in this design are demonstrations. They do not establish a working external embed or a connection to real chat participants. Confirm the final code and server behaviour separately before publishing it.
Does a preview guarantee a working widget?
No. Test the generated integration on the actual host website with a real source.
